To rediscover the ancient Indian wisdom on statecraft from ancient texts. The project is being conducted in collaboration with the United Service Institution of India (USI), a defence think-tank.
The project will focus on studying ancient Indian texts such as the Arthashastra by Kautilya, the Nitisara by Kamandaka, and the Thirukkural by Thiruvalluvar. These texts contain valuable insights on statecraft, strategy, diplomacy, and warfare.
The project aims to identify the timeless principles of statecraft that can be applied to the challenges of the 21st century. The project will also develop a new Indian strategic vocabulary that is rooted in the country's rich intellectual heritage.
